1. Chapter Structure

Title Page: Title, authors, affiliations, email, ORCID (optional)
Abstract: 150–250 words
Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords
Body Sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Future Scope

💡 Tip: Use numbered headings (e.g., 1.0, 1.1, 2.0) for clarity and flow.

2. Formatting Rules

Word file (.docx) or LaTeX if allowed
Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12 pt
Line spacing: 1.5, Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm)
Target length: 5000–8000 words

3. Figures & Tables

Number and title each figure/table clearly
Embed within manuscript AND upload separately
Minimum resolution: 300 DPI for figures
Formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF for images; DOCX/Excel for tables

4. Referencing Style

Use APA / IEEE / Harvard style consistently
Include DOI links where available
Example (APA):
Doe, J. (2023). Smart Cities. Journal of Urban Tech, 9(2), 102–110. https://doi.org/xxxxx

5. Plagiarism & AI Policy

Plagiarism must be under 10%
AI-generated content must be under 20% and disclosed
Check using Turnitin or iThenticate

Indexed and published on BookChapters.in
